Jahrhundert-Bier - Ayinger Brewery
Well folks, it’s official: Ayinger makes some really delicious beer. I know, I’m blowing your mind right now. I’m sure no one has come to this conclusion before me, but Ayinger is a really excellent brewery. I can’t remember ever being disappointed by one of their beers. The Jahrhundert-bier is no exception. This 5.5% alcohol beer, first brewed in 1978, is a delightful beer perfect for drinking at any time. The website describes its honey-ish aroma, flowery yeast, and refined sparkle. Yeah. I agree with all that. But it’s also just a really clean-tasting, well made beer. If you see this one among the other Ayinger offerings, definitely check it out.
